Levesque Law will not use your personal information other than for the purpose for which it was submitted without your consent.
We take attorney-client confidentiality very seriously and will defend your rights to the extent possible by law and by ethical standards of professional responsibility which apply to all attorneys in Maine, except when required to do otherwise such as those circumstances described below.
Submitting any correspondence to Levesque Law by e-mail does not in and of itself create an attorney-client relationship and is therefore not covered by the rules of attorney-client privilege.
If you are an existing client, we will do everything in our power to protect your personal information and will defend it in court to the extent possible by law. If you have any questions or concerns about what might be covered, please make an appointment and discuss it with us in person.
We will release personal information to appropriate governmental authorities as follows: if release is required by law (for example by subpoena or pursuant to the Patriot Act), by regulation, or when requested by a government agency conducting any investigation or proceeding; if our records indicate a company may be engaged in fraudulent activity or other deceptive practices that a governmental agency should be made aware of; or if your communication suggests possible physical harm to others.
Our website does not track, collect or distribute personal information of its visitors. However, our site logs do generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our site.
